The trail started off incredibly foggy. We weren't sure if we would have good weather but we persevered with good thoughts.
It was bizarre to see so many people hiking up the mountain. Many of them just sitting around, recovering from the strenuous hike up. Mind you, we just started...!

After waking up 2am and hiking up Mt Fuji in the dark while following the brilliant trail of headlamps up the mountain -- we finally arriving at the summit in time for sunrise. Hundreds of people waiting eagerly for the sunrise.
